Another random (and somewhat useless) post involving pictures from my Nokia N80 (read:crap). Enjoy the mirabile visu sites of kuwait .. in color no less.
The bridge is over, the bridge is over:
They have finally completed construction on the bridge between the 4th ring road and Fahaheel Expressway.. You can scour my old posts for my fascination with this obvious triumph of Kuwaiti engineering (in the public sector). Driving over this bridge is quite fun, and nothing relieves more stress than a blip at the throttle while passing 7000rpm.
Demolition Derby:
I have a feeling the driver is waiting for somebody to crash into him; so he can blame him for the big scratch on the bumper. And honestly .. how the hell can you drive (or be allowed to) that car? I would be too afraid of the rear half coming apart in between Hawalli and Jabriya..
Jidirna:
The only tv show I follow during ramadan; you have to be quick with the remote tho .. the show is shorter than the commercials that follow it. Kumar is the Steven Segal of the kitchen .. except when he goes to sable.
Mini-Monopoly:
You know its going down when somebody pulls out a mini-monopoly set in the middle of starbucks. The miniature edition doesn’t come without its shortcomings of course. The complete set is tiny! (that isn’t a venti coffee .. its a doubleshot); Keeping the dice within the area is almost impossible. And don’t forget the people staring (you know they just want to play). However, that still won’t stop me .. but alas, I haven’t played since ramadan started; my mini-monopoly other half is off in spain. And there will be no purchasing of Park Lane until they return.
Friday Market:

7ayach allah .. the Friday Market has the weirdest things. I found an earthquake meter and a oxygen thing that they attatch to joggers in the sci-fi movies (Too the right of the white box, in green).
My Nikon is fine, I just keep forgetting to put it in the car. And for those quick random shots, the N80 is always at hand.

When you play Monopoly, do you believe that whatever is not forbidden is allowed? For example, can you make informal agreements with other players for free passage on their properties, in exchange for not putting them out of the game when they land on Park Place and you have three hotels built?

The n80 is not complicated .. its just a really bad phone. hold the button on the right side to open the camera program, then push the same button to take pictures.

I took that bridge the other day going pretty damn quick on the bike! It was pretty intense sine I was the only one their! and it was fun! I love banked roads!

I will post about my personal F1 track (a loop I drive around on the highways on friday mornings). And if you monopoly the ‘right’ way, it finishes somewhat quick .. its when you play the ‘kuwaiti’ way that its endless.
