‘The Amazing Race’ in Kuwait.
I was at the airport this morning to bid farewall to a family member .. but you probably don’t care about that.
Anyway .. I was at starbucks, talking to family; then I see a bunch of people running out of the departure gates with large bags and tons of Camera Equipment. I realized it was a reality tv show, and couldn’t think of anything except the ‘Amazing Race’.
I took some pictures with my camera-phone (which are quite bad). Then my cousin and I decided to go see what the whole thing was about. I asked them if it was the Amazing Race, they said it was a ‘travel show’ .. fair enough.
Then I figured, they are probably on a task .. lets help em cheat. They needed directions to Kuwait Towers, told them to go down the aiport road, hang a right on 1st ring and follow the towers. Then they asked if I had any money.. I figured they are semi-celebrities, so I gave them a kd. Then the camera crew asked for my persmission to record .. couldn’t read the contract, way too blurry. I think I might have given someone my first-born.
I then followed them to the Kuwait towers, took a couple more pictures.
The shots aren’t that good .. but you get the picture (no pun intended).

I think I am going to be on the show, half asleep and wearing something interesting (I woke up at 5.30am!). I think they are still here .. its not really that much action .. a bunch of people running around with big bags.

I wish they would do something like that here, i would really enjoy participating in a race around the world *sighS* riding on elephants, hitchiking on trains, flying over the pacific … awww man..
God I wish i could participate in something similar too! I wanna run with animals and swing on trees with monkies! See Shiva… everything natural’s soo beautiful.

Pics are blurry, but one particular one shows the yellow luggage tag on a bag which is the same one that all racers carry.

season 10 (which includes the kuwait episode) started airing.
That’s pretty cool. That episode was actually just on this past Sunday night. However, I couldn’t help but notice that your Amazing Race link takes you to an old page. That page is from like 3 or 4 seasons ago. They have a newer one with this years competitors on it.
wow that is nice, i wish i witness something interesting like this, so if u have the episode show it here in ur blog cuz i dont know where they will air it.
