Today was honestly one of the most exuberant (is funnest a word?) days I have experienced since coming back to Kuwait.

Now, I am not the type of person that comes back and starts talking about how much I hate Kuwait and I want to return to America. I do not think I could go back anytime soon; as that chapter in my life is over and I have acknowledged that fully. There is nothing sadder than a person in his mid-40’s reminiscing of the 10 years he spent pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an unknown city. And I just never felt welcome in America… but that’s another post.

Back to the point, 10 random things about today:

1. Girls who dress in hideous green shades, then call their friend in leopard skin/glitter (really!) to make up for their horrendous taste in attire.
2. Getting lost in Farwaniya, Rabiya, Jleeb Al-Shyoo5, Fahaheel and some other places I have never been to before.
3. The extremely depressed people at the coffee place that were probably rearranging furniture to entertain themselves.
4. Listening to Sunday morning, again and again and again and .. yes

5. Buying a treadmill, becoming friends with the treadmill salesmen, going on a trip to India with the Indian treadmill salesmen if I use the treadmill.
6. Buying useless clothing from the store with the Indian treadmill salesmen friend trip planner thing.
7. Wearing a beanie, scarf, chmaq and graduation sash… acting completely sane.
8. Keys were lost; then keys were in bag; then bag was in car; then car was locked; then keys were in the backseat.
9. Lots and lots of coffee.
