I decided to stay home today, rent sex and the city and make pasta.

Well .. I didnt really decide to. I went to the supermarket and they had a packet of Buitoni: Portabello Mushroom & Cheese Tortelloni right next to the orange juice. I figured it was a sign from a higher being (Flying Spaghetti Monster), so I picked it up.

Then I decided to stop by Blockbuster and pick up a movie (Hitchhikers Guide or Crash). They were doing some sort of inventory and the ONLY thing I could rent was Sex and The City. Actually, I could rent many movies .. Sex and the City just seemed better than XXX2 and Are We There Yet (Good going Ice Cube!).

So I finally get home and I want to make this packet of Buitoni: Portabello Mushroom & Cheese Tortelloni and the thing needs 3 quarts of water to boil. I have no idea what 3 quarts are .. so off to google we go. Pay Attention, two cups is a pint and two pints is a quart .. the damn thing needs 12 cups of water! for a tiny packet! And it even told me to “boil gently”, How does one “boil gently”.

My oven is now beeping .. which should mean that the Buitoni: Portabello Mushroom & Cheese Tortelloni has been “boiled gently” for 8 - 10 minutes.
